AAID Podcast

The American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) aims to foster informal discussions about the world of implant dentistry, mirroring the collaborative spirit of our members in our podcast.
Hosted by Dr. Daniel Domingue and Dr. Justin Moody, the podcast explores topics and issues encompassed in the implant practitioner's world.

Jan 3, 2019

“I went down there (Puerto Rico) thinking, ‘Ok, I’m gonna be really good at sinus augmentations because I’m gonna learn it with Hilt Tatum.’ And he developed a technique, as everybody knows, and my mind was blown once I got there,” – Dr. Keith Long.

For brothers, Drs. Keith and Hank Long, strong roots go beyond pearly whites—it’s what connects them in their careers. As practice partners, the duo furthered their education by studying under the famous Dr. Hilt Tatum at the Puerto Rico MaxiCourse®. After implementing their research into their practice, they dramatically reduced post-op complications and pain in their patients. They were so intrigued by the wealth of knowledge that they decided to take Dr. Tatum’s course again.

Listen to this episode of the AAID Podcast to find out about an highly successful bone grafting technique that has been around since the 1980s, how to balance running a practice while furthering your education, and some fun brotherly love along the way.

Recorded live from the 2018 Annual Conference in Dallas, TX by Dr. Danny Domingue.
